ShinEtsu KBM-503 is a methacryloxy-functional silane coupling agent (C₁₀H₂₀O₅Si) with MW 248.4 g/mol, density 1.04 g/cm³, boiling point 255°C. Designed to enhance interfacial adhesion in resin composites (e.g., glass/carbon fiber to polymers).

Product Description​

KBM-503 bridges inorganic/organic phases via hydrolyzable -OCH₃ and polymerizable methacryl groups. Low refractive index (1.429) suits transparent resin systems for high-end optical applications.
